Staying up so late that it is now early

Once again, various modes of communication have sucked me in. I am learning alot by looking at the blogs of others, so I thought I should update mine.
I have had a few days off work but am ready to go back. My vacation wasn't really all that it was cracked up to be. The big dog, the best dog, Morgan has been gone now for about 2 weeks. I still miss him terribly. I know I will be better about it soon but not now. Miss him so much! My mom had a dream that he was in, said it was just like he was there. I am hoping I get that dream too. He was a great dog and I wouldn't have changed anything. He would have been 10 in June. He seemed like himself but down he went and was gone in an instant.
I have been getting to work in the yard quite a bit. Pickup up some new plants. Have another good day or 2 of weeding and then need to spray the gravel drive to kill everything growing in the gravel. Hate all that gravel. Now I am thinking construction-adding in some beds and paths etc. hmmmmm. probably be up all night pondering now!!

Elusive Hummingbirds in my backyard

Okay, so for 3 years now I have tried to get some decent pictures of the hummingbirds that frequent my backyard. I think I finally got some good ones. I took these on July 8th, right after I got home for work at about 5pm. I love digital cameras!

PACEY

Here is Pacey. As you can see he isn't very cute. Poor thing. He is the little love bug. He must have all of the attention all of the time. And no fair just patting him and leaving your hand there. Is must actually be moving to constitute actually being petted. If you are not doing it right he will let you know. Everyone that meets him says, oh I just love him, he really likes me. SSSHHHHHHH!! Don't tell. He likes EVERYONE best. Pacey is 5, and a miniature poodle.

Morgan

This is Morgan. Morgan is my Standard Poodle. He is about 65 lbs. In case you can tell he doesn't mind being photographed. At All!! You will see. He is 7. He loves to make eye contact and I swear he can read my mind when he looks in my eyes.

SPARKY

Here is a picture of one of my most favorite pals. Sparky was my tried and true buddy from 1988 to 2005. He was about 6 months old when I got him so that means he live to the ripe old age of approximately 19 years old. His most favorite thing to do: FETCH. And that means Fetch ANYTHING. A toy if he had it, if not a piece of barkdust or a blade of grass would do just fine. Guess it kept him fit and healthy. He never had to take any medications.
